TOKYO, June 7 (APP/AFP): Tokyo shares opened higher on Tuesday,
tracking solid gains on Wall Street as a weaker yen lifted exporters.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange climbed 0.43
percent, or 71.02 points, to 16,651.05 in opening deals, while the broader
Topix index of all first-section shares gained 0.29 percent, or 3.86 points, to 1,336.29.
