KARACHI, (APP): The Government of Sindh has enhanced the
compensation amount for the families of officers/ personnel of Police
who martyr during service. The compensation amount has been increased
from 2 million to 50 million.
According to a statement issued here on Wednesday, the Finance
Department, Government of Sindh has modified the Order of May, 28,
2009 with effect from June 1, 2016
Besides this, a job in Sindh Police will also be provided to son
or daughter or widow of shaheed officer/official and a plot will also
be provided.
The injured officers/ officials will get Rs.50,000 to Rs.200,000
while Rs. 500,000 will be provided in case of serious injuries.
