‘Youm-e-Kashmir’ to be observed on June, 24 : Ali Gilani

(APHC), Syed Ali Gilani has appealed the people to observe Jumat-ul-Wida, the last Friday of Ramazan, as “Youm-ul-Qudus” and June 24 as “Youm-e-Kashmir”.
According to KMS, Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said peace will elude the world until the Kashmir and Palestine issues are settled according to aspirations of the people of these disputed territories.
He also appealed the Tehreek-e-Hurriyet, APHC leaders, Islamic scholars and imams of the mosques to highlight the issue of Masjid Al-Aqsa which is under the illegal and forced occupation of Jewish forces in their Juma-tul-Wida sermons and
organize special prayers for the peaceful resolution of all the disputed
territories included Kashmir and Palestine which are under the foreign
occupation.
The APHC Chairman said the Israel, with the backing of western powers, is illegally occupying the Muslim areas and their sacred places in Palestine and in Kashmir, India, with the help of its military might, is crushing and muzzling the peaceful voices of the people. “The Israeli forces are killing, bombarding and torturing the innocent
Palestinian people and the Indian forces were committing genocides of the Kashmiris in a planned manner.
Syed Ali Gilani said killing of innocent people, custodial disappearances, extrajudicial killings, raps and destruction of the public properties is a routine at both the places and occupational forces are committing the worst kinds of human rights violations in these regions.
He said until and unless the foreign forces are withdrawn from the
Palestine and Kashmir and the interference into the internal affairs of the
Muslims are stopped, the peace, prosperity and development in the world will
remain a dream.
