MULTAN, (APP): District administration decided to
take strict action against the shopkeepers involved in illegal
sale of acid.
District Coordination Officer (DCO) Nadir Chathha directed
officials of civil defence department to conduct raids on daily
basis and discourage sale of acid without license. He further
directed them to keep checking the record of licensed shopkeepers
also.
The step was taken to abolish incidents of acid burning in
South Punjab and save lives of people. He also directed them to
present report on regular basis in this regard.
