Peace in Afghanistan priority of present govt: PLM-N leader

ISLAMABAD, (APP): PML-N Leader Muhammad Nazeer Khan said on
Tuesday that peace in Afghanistan was one of the priorities of government of Pakistan.
While talking to Radio Pakistan he said, “it is important to monitor and protect 2500 km long border between the two countries”.
Unchecked movement on the border since long had bred the complications
and problems, he added.
He said that border issue must be resolved through negotiations.
The incumbent government had managed the issues vigilantly and restored law and order situation in length and breadth of the country.
“I visit North Waziristan twice a month and peace is restored everywhere in that region,”he urged.
Replying to a question , Nazeer Khan said that Pakistan had achieved
significant successes in War against terror as a result of Operation Zarb-e-
Azb and the country’s image had been improved in the world.
