TOKYO, July 5, (APP/AFP) – Tokyo shares fell at the
start of trade Tuesday, putting the benchmark Nikkei index on course to snap a six-day rally.
The Nikkei 225 at the Tokyo Stock Exchange shed 0.59 percent, or 93.64
points, to 15,682.16 in opening deals.
The broader Topix index of all first-section shares dropped 0.40 percent, or 5.10 points, to 1,256.87.
