Hurriyet leaders appealed OIC to help resolve Kashmir dispute

ISLAMABAD, July 7 (APP): Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, and other Hurriyet leaders including Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Shabbir Ahmed Shah and Muhammad Yasin Malik in their fresh resolve have appealed members of the Organization of the Islamic countries (OIC) to step up their efforts towards resolving Kashmir dispute.
According to KMS , Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar, on Thursday , urging the Kashmiri people to celebrate the festival with simplicity asked them not to forget the victims of Indian state terrorism including orphans and widows.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in his Eid message said that the Kashmiri people would observe the occasion with the resolve and confidence that their unparalleled sacrifices would bear fruit very soon and they would achieve their goal at all costs. He also paid tributes to the illegally detained Kashmiris languishing in different jails and prayed for their good health. He asked the Kashmiri people to take care of needy and poor persons and celebrate the Eid with simplicity.
The APHC General Secretary, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, dispatched an Eid message to the OIC Secretary General, Iyad Amin Madani, and ambassadors of Muslim countries in India in which he expressed hope that they would continue to support the Kashmiris in their just struggle.
He appealed to the OIC member nations to step up their efforts towards
resolving the Kashmir dispute. He also demanded of the India to settle the
longstanding dispute without any further delay.
Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued in Srinagar appealed to the
people of occupied Kashmir to observe the Eid with utmost austerity and
simplicity.
Hurriyet leaders including Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Hakeem Abdul Rasheed, Yasmeen Raja, Bilal Siddiqui, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, Muhammad Iqbal Mir, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Imtiyaz Ahmed Reshi, Ghulam Nabi War, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, the Chairman of Lawyers Club, Advocate Babar Qadri, and the Jamaat-e-Islami of the occupied territory in their statements also felicitated the Muslims across the world on the auspicious occasion of Eid.
They urged the Kashmiri people to celebrate Eid with austerity and share its joys with the families of martyrs, detainees and other victims of Indian state terrorism.
The leaders also demanded immediate release of all illegally detained
Kashmiris lodged in different jails.
