Hong Kong climbs a fourth day but Shanghai dips

HONG KONG, (APP/AFP) – Hong Kong stocks rallied for a
fourth straight session Thursday, tracking another broad global advance on expectations central banks around the world will soon unveil fresh economic
stimulus measures.
The Hang Seng Index rose 1.12 percent, or 238.69 points, to close at
21,561.06.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.22 percent, or 6.67
points, to 3,054.02 but the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on
China’s second exchange, edged up 0.16 percent, or 3.27 points, to 2,044.93.
