Gilani, Mirwaiz, Yasin condemn use of force on protesters

ISLAMABAD, (APP): The Chairman of All Parties
Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, and Hurriyet leaders,
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in occupied Kashmir
have strongly denounced the use of brutal force by Indian troops
and police against the peaceful protesters.

puppet authorities not to support the ongoing movement.
The top Hurriyet leaders in a joint statement issued in
Srinagar appealed to the people not to fall prey to the nefarious
designs of the Indian imperialism or its local stooges and follow
the joint programme in letter and spirit, Kashmir Media service reported.
They affirmed their resolve to lead this movement to its
logical end no matter how brutal and cruel Indian aggression may
be.
The leaders appealed to the imams of the mosques to lead
protests against the killing of 40 young brave-hearts who were
martyred by the cruel and inhuman Indian troops and police during
the last one week.
The resistance leaders said that the Kashmiris had been
fighting the Indian aggression and brutalism for decades and now
they were facing do or die situation.
They further said that the Kashmiri people would never
succumb to any pressure as they believed their cause was just and
they would fight to achieve it till their last breath.
On the sending of more troops by New Delhi to the occupied
territory, the leaders said that not only three battalions even if
India sent whole of its army to Kashmir, the Kashmiris would fight
them tooth and nail and like always defeat them.
The leaders maintained that it was a long and continued
struggle and “we need to be prepared for a prolonged but definite
phase now”.
Local Baitul Malls need to be activated and needy people
especially victims of the Indian state terrorism need our utmost
attention, they added.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal
Bhutto Zardari, telephoned Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and expressed
solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir on behalf of
Pakistan.
A statement issued by the Hurriyet forum led by the Mirwaiz
said that Bilawal Bhutto also condemned the killing of innocent
Kashmiris by Indian forces.
