Day 7: Occupied Kashmir reels under strict curfew

ISLAMABAD, (APP): The puppet authorities continued to
impose strict curfew in the Kashmir Valley on 7th consecutive day,
today, to prevent the people from staging demonstrations against
the killing of Hizbul-Mujahideen commander.
Indian police and paramilitary personnel have been deployed
in strength across the Valley to thwart anti-India protests.
Residents of Srinagar and other parts of Valley told media over
phone that people were not being allowed to come out of their
houses and were also being stopped from going to mosques for
offering Juma prayers,reported Kashmir Media Service.
Meanwhile, at least nine persons were critically injured
after Indian troops opened fire on peaceful protesters at Khaitan
Kandi in Baramulla district. The injured were removed a sub-
district hospital Baramulla.
On the other hand, internet and cellular services were also
snapped on Thursday evening.
Gag on media has also been imposed in the occupied
territory. In the wee hours of Friday morning the police seized
newspapers from vendors in Lal Chowk and did not allow them to
distribute the newspapers.
