ANKARA, July 16 (APP/AFP) – A place carrying Turkish President Recep
Tayyip Erdogan was about to land at Istanbul’s Ataturk airport Saturday after a military coup attempt to bring down his government, a presidential source said.
A group of soldiers also entered the Istanbul premises of Turkey’s
private media group Dogan Media, its CNN-Turk channel reported as its live broadcast was cut by the group.
