Rally in Muzaffarabad against Indian state terrorism in IOK

ISLAMABAD, (APP): A protest rally was organized in Muzaffarabad against the killings of innocent Kashmiris by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir.
According to KMS, besides Hurriyet leaders and civil society members,
political, religious and social activists participated in the rally.
The participants condemned the brutalities of Indian forces in the occupied territory and expressed solidarity with those families whose kith and kin were killed by the forces’ personnel. The participants of the rally held a march up to press club.
Prominent among those who participated in the rally were Admiral (Retd) Faseeh Bukhari, Ghulam Mohammad Safi, Mohammad Farooq Rehmani, Altaf Ahmad Butt,Mir Tahir Masood, Manzoor Ahmad Butt, Ali Bahadur, Aziz Ghazali, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Pervaiz Ahmad Shah and Abdul Majeed Malik.
Speaking on the occasion, the Convener of APHC-AJK chapter, Ghulam Mohammad Safi said that Pakistani people and government were with the people of Kashmir and asked Pakistan to seek international support to stop Indian brutalities in occupied Kashmir. He said that for last almost 70 years more than five lakh Kashmiri people had been killed by Indian forces and despite all the brutalities, the Kashmiris were committed to take their ongoing freedom movement to its logical end.
Faseeh Bukhari in his address said that Indian leaders were living in an illusion and day dreaming and they could neither make the territory their entity nor weaken the freedom sentiment of the Kashmiri people.
Other leaders also addressed the rally and appealed to the UN and
international community to fulfill their obligations and help in resolving the lingering Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
