Hong Kong stocks down at lunch

HONG KONG, (APP/AFP) – Hong Kong stocks
ended the morning session lower Friday with energy firms taking a hit as oil prices extend losses to a seventh straight day owing to supply worries.
The Hang Seng Index eased 0.82 percent, or 182.40 points, to
21,991.94 by the break.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was marginally lower, slipping
2.00 points to 2,992.32, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, fell 0.10 percent, or 1.87 points, to 1,949.13.
