KARACHI, (APP): Three ships C.V MSC Paris, C.V Jazan,
C.V Xpress Kailash and M.T Sea-3 carying containers and steel coll
were allotted berths at Qasim International Container Terminal and
Multi Purpose Terminal respectively on Monday.
Meanwhile 03 more ships C.V MSC Alghero, C.V Maersk Detrolt, and
M>V Diamond Sea scheduled to load/offload containers and cement also
arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was maintained at the Port at sixty percent on
Monday where a total of nine berth were engaged by ship namely C.V MSC
Paris, C.V Jazan, C.V Xpress Kailash, C.V MSC Rachele, M.V Diyaab, M.T
Sea-3, M.V Glarus, M.T Karachi and M.T Liberty-N to load/offload
containers, cement, general, cargo, coal, fertilizer, plam oil,
furnace oil and LPG respectively during last 24 hours.
Cargo handling registered an upward trend at the port on Monday,
where a cargo volume of 124,068 tonnes, comprising 80,201 tonnes
import cargo and 43,867 tonnes export cargo inclusive of containerized
cargo carried in 3,382 containers (TEUs) (1,514 imports TUEs & 1,868
TUEs exports) was handled at the port following were the highlights in
tonnes during last 24 hours.
DEPARTURES:
Two ships C.V MSC Rachele and M.T Karachi sailed out to sea on
Tuesday morning, while three more ships C.V MSC Jazan and M.T Liberty-
N are expected to sail on same day afternoon.
ARRIVAL SCHEDULE:
Four ships C.V Maersk Detroit, C.V MSC Aighero, M.T Globe Tanya
and M.T Toctus carrying containers, LPG and diesel oil are expected to
take berths at QICT, SSGC and FOTCO resoectvekt ib Tyesdat, wguke M.T
Gas Lion is due arrive at Port Qasim on same day.
