Pakistan for promoting ties with all countries: President

ISLAMABAD, (APP): President Mamnoon Hussain said
Pakistan was desirous of further promoting friendly and
brotherly relations with all countries particularly with its
neighbours for peace, stability and prosperity in the region.
He was talking to designate envoys of Denmark, Malawi
and Slovak who presented their credentials to him during an
impressive ceremony held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, said a press
release.
Earlier, each envoy-designate arrived at the main gate
of the Aiwan-e-Sadr in a horse driven carriage. The national
anthem of Pakistan and their respective countries were played
and the envoys designate were also presented Guard of Honour.
Later, the Ambassadors separately called on the
President. The envoys who presented their credentials
included Ole Thonke, Ambassador of Denmark, Wilfred Ali,
Ambassador of Malawi (Resident in Kuwait) and Lubomir Golian,
Ambassador of Slovak Republic (Resident in Iran).
Speaking on the occasion, the President said Pakistan
offered great investment opportunities and urged the foreign
investors to avail them.
Talking about Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism, he
said Pakistan had rendered great sacrifices in fight against
terrorism and was committed to end this menace.
He said the operation Zarb-e-Azb was progressing
successfully, emphasizing that the operation would continue
till elimination of the last terrorist.
The President felicitated the newly appointed
Ambassadors to Pakistan and hoped that they would work for
further cementing the existing ties of their respective
countries with Pakistan.
He also wished the newly appointed envoys a comfortable
and pleasant stay in Pakistan.
