Anti-India protests rock Kashmir for 52nd day today

ISLAMABAD, (APP): Anti-India protest demonstrations
and rallies marked by fierce clashes were held across the Indian
occupied Kashmir Valley on the 53rd consecutive day.
Several people were injured after Indian armed forces’
personnel fired pellets and bullets on anti-India and pro-freedom
rallies in Srinagar, Badgam, Baramulla, Bandipore, Islamabad and
other districts of the territory, KMS reported.
Pro-freedom and pro-Pakistan songs were played on
loudspeakers and Pakistani flags were raised in the rallies.
A protest march raising anti-India and pro-Pakistan slogans
was held in Doda against the arrest of a young social worker and
conti41nued human rights violations in the Kashmir valley. The
march was taken out from central Jamia Masjid towards Eidgah.
People also observed shutdown in Bhaderwah and Poonch areas of
Jammu region. The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement organized a
protest demonstration at Surankote in Poonch district.
The Chairman of Hurriyet forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a
statement appealed to the people to follow the joint programme of
Hurriyet with full spirit and dedication.
APHC General Secretary, Shabbir Ahmad in a statement issued
in Srinagar urged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to shun
blame-game and address the Kashmir dispute as per Kashmiris’
aspirations.
