Hong Kong stocks rally after US lead

HONG KONG, (APP/AFP): Hong Kong stocks surged
Tuesday in line with a broad regional advance and following a strong lead from Wall Street, as traders look ahead to the release of US jobs data and Chinese factory figures.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.85 percent, or 194.77 points, to close at
23,016.11.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index climbed 0.15 percent, or 4.65
points, to 3,074.68. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on
China’s second exchange, added 0.06 percent, or 1.21 points, to 2,028.36.
