CHAMAN, (APP): The Defense Day was observed with national zeal and spirit in the border town of Chaman and Frontier Corps Balochistan arranged a ceremony at FC Fort, here on Tuesday.
Commandant, FC Chaman, Col. Wajid Ali Satti hoisted Pak flag at FC Fort and offered dua for martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. An exhibition of modern weapons was also held at FC Fort which was visited by hundreds of citizens including citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commandant said that the Defense Day was a symbol of determination that people of Pakistan stood by their armed forces who sacrificed their lives to make defense of our beloved homeland stronger. “The entire nation is untied to support our armed forces in foiling conspiracies and nefarious designs of enemies of Pakistan,” he said.
Meanwhile, a ceremony to observe Defense Day was also held at FC School Chaman.
