MIRPUR (MILLAT+AJK), (APP): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime
Minister Raja Frooq Haider invited the intending investors to
invest in the tourism sector in AJK which provides a conducive
environment.
Talking to the representatives of a private-sector entity- The
Empire Capital Dubai, here Tuesday night he said that Azad Kashmir
was a safe place to visit and to enjoy the scenic beauty of Kashmir
– the paradise on earth.
He said AJK has great potential of investing in tourism sector
and his government was ready to provide facilities to the investors.
The Prime Minister said promotion of tourist activities could
help in strengthening of national economy and putting the country on
the road to progress and development.
He said that tourism promoted soft image of a country at
international level while national economy could also be
strengthened through development of this sector.
He said that they also celebrated World Tourism Day aiming to
promote tourism, exploration of new tourist spots and conservation
of archeological sites besides safety of tourists and provision of
necessary facilities at tourist sites.
He said AJK provided an opportunity to tourists to see
natural sights and ancient civilizations.
He said Kashmir attracted tourists from all over the world.
He said that tourist sites of Kashmir comprised of fertile land
and beautiful mountain ranges and this country was also famous for
archeological sites.
He said that Jammu and Kashmir was rich in natural beauty and
was also a center of ancient culture and civilizations.
Raja Farooq Haider said the AJK government was taking
effective measures for the development of tourist sites and
promotion of tourism.
He said that Tourism Department AJK was providing best
services to the tourists.
He said that climate change was a big threat to promotion of
tourism and there was a need to take effective measures for
overcoming this problem.
