QUETTA, (APP): The Home Department, government of Balochistan has
refuted statement of a political party published in newspapers which claimed disappearance and killing of some people in actions taken by the security forces in month of September.
In a press release issued by the Home and Tribal Affairs Department
here, the officials termed the statement of the political party as baseless, untrue and an effort to misguide people.
There is no truth in the statement published in newspapers, in which a
political party claimed that several persons were disappeared and several others were killed during actions taken by security forces in month of September.
“A political party tried to misguide people by issuing false, baseless
and untrue statement,” the official press release said.
“A handful of agents of foreign forces were involved in damaging peace
and killing innocent people in targeted killings,” it said.
The Home Department officials said that law & order situation has been
improved and no incidents of disappearance of persons were being reported. They urged newspapers must confirm and verify news before publishing it.
