SIALKOT, Oct 8 (APP): The Small and Medium Enterprises
Development Authority (SMEDA) is preparing a strategy for
promotion of surgical,leather and cutlery industries.
This was said by General Manager Out Reach SMEDA Alamgir
Chaudary while talking to APP on Saturday.
He said the strategy would be finalised with an active
consultation and suggestions of stakeholders. He added the
SMEDA was holding meetings with surgical, leather and
cutlery associations.
The basic concept of the programme was to find out ways
and means of enhancing the export volume, he said.
Alamgir added that implementation of the proposed plan
would be supportive not only in capacity building the surgical,
leather and cutlery sectors but also ensure an increase in export.
