LAHORE,Oct 23 (APP)-Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan Thursday said owing to best security plan the government succeeded in maintaining peace on Youm-e-Ashur ,tenth of Moharram. He credited all elected members,police,officials of government departments as well as law enforcement agencies for coordinated efforts to ensure peaceful culmination of Ashura processions. In a brief statement he said protection of life and property of law abiding citizens was responsibility of the government therefore on the direction of Chief Minister Punjab foolproof security arrangements were made during Muharram.
