KARACHI, Oct 13 (APP): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh, A.D. Khawaja, Thursday sought an inquiry report from the DIG East into the killing of an ASI in Korangi area of the metropolis. According to a Sindh police spokesman, the IGP taking notice of the killing of ASI Shahzad Akthar in the firing by unidentified assailants in Korangi on Thursday, directed the DIG East to present him a detailed inquiry report. The IGP directed that all out steps should be ensured for the arrest of culprits, and investigation should be conducted on all aspects in light of evidence collected from crime scene and statements of witnesses.
