ISLAMABAD, Oct 14 (APP): The trade deficit of the country fell by 13.39 to $2.315 billion in September 2016 from $2.673 billion in August, 2016 as the country’s exports decreased by 6.94 per cent while the imports declined by 10.92 per cent. The country’s exports fell to $1.543 billion in September from $1.658billion in August while the imports decreased from $4.331 billion in August to $3.858 billion in September. Similarly on year-on-year basis, the trade deficit increased by 33.43per cent as the exports declined by 10.6 per cent while imports went up by 11.47 per cent in September 2016 as compared to same month of preceding year.
