ISLAMABAD, Oct 15 (APP): Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of police has arrested a woman for looting hitchhikers along with her accomplices, police said on Saturday. Following few complaints, SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani asked SP (Investigation) Muhammad Ilyas to trace the perpetrators of those involved in looting hitch-hikers. A special team was constituted under supervision of DSP CIA, Bashir Noon which apprehended a lady Hina Shazadi resident of Okara who used to loot people along with her accomplices after giving lift on their vehicle. Police also recovered golden ear rings, bangles and rings from her which she snatched from Jameela Bano on June 3, 2016 after giving her lift near Poly Clinic. Her other co-accused Naziran Bibi r/o Sahiwal has been also arrested and sent to judicial lock in a case (FIR 532/16) at Ludan police station District Vehari. The process is underway to shift the said lady while the nabbed female has confessed her involvement in same type of incidents in Rawalpindi, Vehari,Sadiq Abad, Raheem Yar khan and Lahore. Further detail investigation is underway from her.
