ISLAMABAD, Oct 17 (APP): At least 23 people were killed and more than 50 sustained injuries in a head-on collision between two buses in Rahim Yar Khan on early Monday morning. According to PTV news report, a bus coming to Sadiqabad from Faisalabad collided head-on with another bus going from Karachi to Bahawalpur near Dhareja Phatak area of Rahim Yar Khan. Many passengers were trapped inside the bus and were evacuated after cutting various parts of the vehicle while most of the injured are stated to be in critical condition. Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured and dead to hospitals in Khanpur and Rahim Yar Khan.
