Shanghai, Hong Kong stocks fall as markets battle oil dip

HONG KONG, China, (APP/AFP) – Shanghai and Hong Kong
stocks fell Tuesday as markets were hit by a fresh fall in the oil price. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.81 percent, or 23.85 points,
to close at 2,903.33.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second
exchange, fell 0.58 percent, or 10.99 points, to 1,877.19.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index lost 0.25 percent, or 49.31 points, to
close at 19,414.78
