HYDERABAD, Oct 26 (APP): Federal Minister Shahid Khakan Abbassi said people of the country had elected Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, with a mandate of five years in May 2013 and only people had the right to decide and elect their government. Talking to media here Wednesday, he said democracy could provide an enabling environment for the country’s socio-economic development and prosperity. Responding to a question, he said the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) had also staged a sit-in demonstration in Islamabad two years ago. Earlier, the federal minister visited the residence of the MNA Sayed Naveed Qamar and expressed condolence and prayed for the departed soul of his father and Ex senator Sayed Qamaruz Zaman Shah, who breathed his last on Monday.
