TOKYO, Nov 9, (Millat/APP/AFP) – The Mexican peso plunged
around 6 percent Wednesday as results in the US presidential
election pointed to Donald Trump making a strong showing against Hillary Clinton.
The currency, which has become a proxy for the property mogul’s
chances of taking the White House, was at 19.7240 to the US dollar at around 0240 GMT.
