Use of suppressive tactics on IoK people condemned

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT+APP): Hurriyet forum led by Mirwaiz Umar
Farooq has condemned the use of oppressive and suppressive tactics
on people.
According to KMS,”The forces have declared a full-scale war on the
people in every part of Kashmir by ransacking residences, beating residents, and damaging homes while human rights violations are at their peak as
night raids, arrests and detentions are continuing unabated”.
“The puppet regime on one hand expresses concern over the
studies and future of children of Kashmir, and on the other, its
drive of arbitrary and random arrests against them continues
unabated. Students like Dawood Zargar are now even arrested from
airports, slapped with draconian Public Safety Act (PSA) and
directly shifted to jails outside Kashmir.”
He deplored that police had also arrested 14 boys from
Sozieth village in Budgam district in nocturnal raids, many among
them students.
“Forces conducted raids in Tral, Bandipora, Sopore and
Kupwara areas, including on mosques and arrested innocent people
and slapped them with PSA,” he added.
