Hong Kong stocks open higher

HONG KONG, (MILLAT+APP/AFP) – Shares in Hong Kong edged
up in early trade Friday, recovering the previous day’s losses and tracking a rally across most other Asian markets.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.16 percent, or 35.77 points, to 22,644.26.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was marginally lower, dipping 0.50 points to 3,241.24, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, dipped 0.08 percent, or 1.76 points, to 2,119.73.
