India diverting world attention from uprising in IoK: Ali Gilani

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT+APP): The Chairman of All Parties
Hurriyet Conference (APHC), Syed Ali Gilani, has said that India
is escalating tension on the Line of Control to divert world
attention from the ongoing uprising in the territory.
According to KMS , Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in
Srinagar said, “To mislead their own people and international
community Line of Control is being kept hot and tense by India so
that gross human rights violations by Indian armed forces for the
last seven decades particularly during the present uprising are
hushed up in the thunders of guns roaring on LoC.”
The APHC Chairman expressed deep concern over the loss of
precious lives in the recent Indian shelling on the LoC. He said
that the regular collision between armed men on the LoC was not
surprising, but attacking the common people, passenger buses and
ambulances carrying the injured by the Indian forces was the most
cowardice act carried out under severe depression and frustration.
Syed Ali Gilani maintained that India on one hand had
forcibly taken control of the land of Jammu and Kashmir,
tarnishing and mutilating every fabric of legality and democracy,
and on the other, enslaved the whole populace against their will.
“It is most brazenly and shamelessly targeting the civilians
across the LoC. The bullets can’t differentiate between armed men
and civilians and the bloody line across our homeland is turned
deep red with the blood of Kashmiris with each passing day. Whole
responsibility lies on the Indian rulers and all the freedom and
peace loving people of Indian should catch them by their neck and
question them that how long they need the blood and honour of
innocents to retain their power,” he said.
The APHC Chairman warned that confrontation between India
and Pakistan would prove devastating not only for the region but
also for the whole world. He pointed out that the risk of
collision between the two nuclear powers would remain unless the
Kashmir dispute was resolved in accordance with the aspirations of
the Kashmiri people.
