Concern raised over tension on LoC, working boundary

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT+APP): The Hurriyet forum led by Mirwaiz
Umar Farooq in occupied Kashmir, has expressed concern over the
escalation of tension between Pakistan and India along the Line of
Control (LoC) and Working Boundary.
According to Kashmir Media Service ,the forum spokesman in a
statement issued in Srinagar said, “The damage to life and
property of those living along the LoC and Working Boundary is a
worrying matter.”
He said that the Kashmir dispute was the main cause of
confrontation and tension between the two countries and they
should create an environment which could pave way for resolution
of the dispute in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri
people.
The spokesman said that in a bid to crush the ongoing mass
uprising in the occupied territory India was subjecting the
resistance leadership and freedom-loving people of Kashmir to
vengeance by unleashing police and military might on them.
He said that people in every nook and corner of occupied
Kashmir were being subjected to all kinds of harassment and
humiliation.
The spokesman strongly condemned the arrest of youth during
nocturnal raids in Nawa Kadal area of Srinagar, continued house
arrest and illegal detention of resistance leaders including Syed
Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, Shahid-ul-
Islam and others and arbitrary arrest of thousands of youth.
He said that all these brutal actions were aimed at
breaking the will of the resistance leadership and freedom-loving
people of Kashmir to force them to surrender their demand for
their right to self-determination.
