Minister approves Rs 2 million for bridges in Kohat

PESHAWAR, (APP): Khyber Pakhthunkhwa Minister for Law and
Parliamentary Affairs Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi Tuesday approved two million rupees for four pillars of bridge and a girls school in village Barh of Nusrat Khel.
The Minister said that provincial government is taking measures to
facilitate the people at their doorsteps.
Talking to various delegations hailing from his constituency at his
office, he said that PTI-led government is focusing on human development rather using huge expenditures on materials.
He said education, health and other social sectors are being
streamlined so that dream of healthy welfare society could be realized in a proper manner.
The delegations eulogized role of provincial government for improving
standard of schools, hospitals, Thana and Patwar Offices. The delegations thanked the law minister for accelerating development process in Kohat district.
Imtiaz Qureshi on the occasion approved Rs.2 million for four
pillars of bridge and a girls school in village Barh of Union Council Nusrat Khel.
He said that girls school would solve problems of female education in
the village. The bridge on main Khwar area would also be completed soon, for
which Rs.4 million have been released, he added. More funds would also be provided on urgent basis, he said.
Keeping in view the problems of backward areas of his constituency,
he directed the concerned to address problems of the delegations.
He said that focus is being given on the upgradation of the system,
adding that the government had recruited 25,000 teachers without any favour.
The minister emphasized the need for including such activities in the
syllabus that could enhance creativity among the students.
He said that play areas for students would be made in 10,000
primary schools, while under the new policy, play area was made compulsory for all new primary schools.
