ISLAMABAD, Dec 12 (APP): Dense foggy conditions are likely to
prevail over plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and upper
Sindh at night and morning hours during the next 24 hours, according
to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
Mainly cold and dry weather is likely in most parts of Punjab,
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan
during the next 24 hours.
According to the synoptic situation, continental air was
prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave
was present over upper parts of the country.
The rainfall recorded during the last 24 hours was Dir 03 mm,
Mirkhani 02, Balakot 01 and Drosh 01 mm.
The lowest minimum temperatures recorded during the last 24
hours were Skardu -05 C, Hunza, Kalat -04 C, Gupis, Kalam -03 C,
Malamjabba, Astore and Quetta -01 C.
