HONG KONG,(MILLAT+APP/AFP) – Hong Kong stocks ended
the morning session lower on Friday following losses on Wall Street, as traders wind down ahead of Christmas.
The Hang Seng Index shed 0.53 percent, or 114.45 points, to 21,521.75 by the break.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.61 percent, or 19.11 points, to 3,120.45, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, fell 0.70 percent, or 13.86 points, to 1,979.51.
