ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT+APP): Four reports of various standing committees including Functional Committee on Devolution Process, Law and Justice, Commerce and Petroleum and Natural Resources were presented in Senate on Monday.
Chairman Functional Committee Mir Kabeer Ahmed presented the report on a matter regarding establishment of permanent Secretariat of the Council of Common Interests (CCI) in the Upper House.
Chairman Standing Committee on Law and Justice Javed Abbasi presented report of the committee about reviewing of section 25 of the National Accountability Ordinance, 1999 which deals with voluntary return and plea bargain while Chairman Commerce Standing Committee Syed Shibli Faraz presented a report about import of huge quantity of powered milk.
Taj Muhammad Afridi on behalf of Chairman Standing Committee on Petroleum and Natural Resources Mir Israrullah Zehri presented special report on the problems being faced by the oil sector and industry in Pakistan.
