JERUSALEM, (MILLAT+APP/AFP) – Police said that officers shot dead an
Israeli Arab “terrorist” who tried to ram them with his car during a protest against home demolitions in southern Israel on Wednesday.
A police statement said that the man, a local resident, was active in
the Israeli Islamic Movement and may have been influenced by the Islamic State organisation.
No details were given of any police casualties during the early
morning incident in the Bedouin village of Umm al-Heiran, in the Negev desert.
