TeH denounces arrest of its activist

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT+APP): Tehreek-e-Hurriyet Jammu and
Kashmir, headed by Syed Ali Gilani, has strongly condemned the
detention of its activist, Sheikh Sartaj Ahmad, in Islamabad
district.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the TeH spokesman in a
statement issued in Srinagar said that Sheikh Sartaj Ahmad
exhibited his commitment and determination during the 2016 mass
uprising and his spirits were not let down by callous approach of
Indian police and secret agencies.
The spokesman while hailing the contribution of Sheikh
Sartaj Ahmad for the ongoing freedom movement said that he
participated in peaceful processions and demonstrations and his
all activities were peaceful and as such his arrest was
unjustified. He castigated the puppet authorities for their brute
approach against the pro-freedom people.
