ISLAMABAD, Jan 27 (APP): All Balochistan Muttahida Union
Councils Action Committee (ABMUCAC) Friday asked the members of
provincial assembly to delegate powers for empowering local body
representatives.
Addressing a press conference at National Press Club, ABMUCAC President Haji Farooq and Secretary Jamil Ahmed said the government should tansfer powers to local body representatives to resolve public issues at minute level.
They said they had been constantly demanding for the powers and added, “if local body government gets powers it would be in the benefit of development package to Balochistan and China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.”
