CDA to preserve Shah Allah Ditta’s cave

ISLAMABAD, Feb 2 (APP): Capital Development Authority (CDA) would
preserve a cave located at Shah Allah Ditta which is almost 650 years old.
Visiting the village, Member Administration CDA, Muhammad Yasir
Peerzada said this was an important historical and archeological site and it should be preserved.
Deputy Mayor Muncipal Corporation Islamabad (MCI), Syed Zeeshan Ali
Naqvi was accompanied with the member administration CDA during the visit.
The memeber said the authority would use all its available resources to
make Shah Allah Ditta as tourist place for both local and international visitors.
Deputy Mayor MCI, Syed Zeeshan Naqvi briefed the member
administration CDA that the village was also famous for its historical sites as cave’s wall had portraits of Buddha which with the passage of time disappeared.
The member administration directed formations concerned to
erect detailed information board at the site to let the people know about the historical importance of the village.
He directed to improve the prevailing condition of connecting road to
Shah Allah Ditta to provide easy access to the visitors.
