ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT/APP): Balochistan government is taking
concrete measures for promotion of fisheries sector in the province
after allocating Rs 184 million for it in the current fiscal
year’s budget.
Radio Pakistan quoting a senior official of
Balochistan Fisheries Department reported that interest free loans
worth Rs one billion will be given to fishermen.
Modern machinery costing more than Rs 100 million
has also been purchased to check illegal trawlers, the official
added.
