Hong Kong stocks push higher in morning

HONG KONG, (MILLAT/APP/AFP) – Hong Kong stocks ended
the morning session higher Thursday, building on their recent rally after Donald Trump reiterated his promise to unveil a tax reform plan soon.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.41 percent, or 97.39 points up at
24,092.26.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index climbed 0.19 percent, or 6.23
points, to 3,219.22 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on
China’s second exchange, rose 0.41 percent, or 7.95 points, to 1,954.99.
