ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT/APP): The government on Wednesday reappointed
Professor Inam Bari as chairman of its PEMRA’s Sindh Councils of
Complaints (CoC) and its three exiting members.
According to a notification issued here by the Ministry of
Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage, the reappointed
members included Hoori Noorani, Lal Masjid Sultan Khawaja and Anjum Sabauddin.
Sindh CoC memebrs Farhad Zaidi and Mehtab Akbar Rashidi would
continue till April 13 and November 3, 2017 respectively.
Similarly, Lubna Zaheer, Sughra Sadaf and Iftikhar Ahmed
Tarar were reappointed members of the CoC Lahore of Pakistan
Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA).
Lahore CoC Chairman Dr Mehdi Hassan,and members Dr Mubasher
Nadeem and Fauzia Waqar would continue till the expiry of their
term on August 5, 2017, the notification said.
