ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT/APP): The prices of fruits and vegetables
overall remained stable with minor fluctuation in price of some
items in the federal capital here on Thursday.
According to the Islamabad Market Committee Price List issued
here, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major
difference from the price list of the previous week.
According to price list, potato was sold at Rs 29 per
kilogram, Onion Rs 35, Tomato Rs 57, Ginger Rs 105, Garlic
(China) Rs 300, Garlic Local 380, Lemon Rs 67, Pumpkin Rs 65,
Brinjal Rs 60, Peas Rs 40, Fresh Bean Rs 63, Tinda Walaiti
(Imported gourd small) Rs 34, Cucumber Rs 30, Capsicum Rs 84/60,
Green Chilli Rs 86, Cauliflower Rs 29/21, Cabbage Rs 29, Green
Zucchini Rs 70, Spinach Rs 17/13, Raddish Rs 17, Turnip Rs 22, Yam
Rs 75, Maroo Rs 32, Carrot Rs 24, Chicken Rs 142 and Egg per dozen
Rs 87.
Likewise, the rates of fruits per kilogram of high and
medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple (kala kalo) Rs
135/98, Apple Golden Rs 105/70, Apple White Rs 93/57, Apple China
Rs 182/140, Banana Pak Rs 105/60, Banana India Rs 160/118, Guava
102/60, Pomegranate Rs 215/155, Musumi Rs 170/122, Shakri Rs
176/130, Kino Rs 84/52, Pear China Rs 160/128 and Red blood Oranges
Rs 180/130, Melon Rs 85/60, Strawberry Rs 245.
