MULTAN, Mar 4 (APP): The Sports Board Punjab will start laying
Astro Turf at district hockey ground for the promotion of game in
the region.
District sports officer Chaudhary Muhammad Siddiq while talking
to APP here on Saturday said that Pakistan Sports Board had provided
fund of Rs 40 million to Sports board Punjab for laying astro turf
in Multan.
District president hockey association Malik Ayyub Ghallo said
that laying astro-Turf in the hockey ground would be helpful for
hockey players across South Punjab.
Punjab Hockey association representative Kamran Sharif Chaudhry
said that it was outstanding demand of local hockey players.
