Hong Kong stocks end morning with gains

HONG KONG, (MILLAT/APP/AFP) – Hong Kong shares
ended the morning in positive territory Monday following last week’s sell-off while buying was also supported by another positive lead from Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.37 percent, or 87.31 points, to 23,640.03.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.37 percent, or 11.79 points, to 3,230.10 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, gained 0.85 percent, or 16.96 points, at 2,018.87.
