ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT/APP): The prices of fruits and vegetables
overall remained stable with minor fluctuation in price of some
items in the federal capital here on Monday.
According to the Islamabad Market Committee Price List issued
here, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major
difference from the price list of the previous week.
According to price list, potato was sold at Rs 29 per
kilogram, Onion Rs 33, Tomato Rs 66, Ginger Rs 97, Garlic
(China) Rs 290, Garlic Local 265, Lemon Rs 125, Pumpkin Rs 75,
Brinjal Rs 66, Peas Rs 42, Fresh Bean Rs 48, Tinda Walaiti
(Imported gourd small) Rs 30, Cucumber Rs 29, Capsicum Rs 82/70,
Green Chilli Rs 100, Cauliflower Rs 29/20, Cabbage Rs 28, Green
Zucchini Rs 80, Spinach Rs 14/12, Raddish Rs 15, Turnip Rs 24, Yam
Rs 70, Maroo Rs 28, Carrot Rs 23, Chicken Rs 143 and Egg per dozen
Rs 83.
Likewise, the rates of fruits per kilogram of high and
medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple (kala kalo) Rs
130/100, Apple Golden Rs 100/65, Apple White Rs 95/55, Apple China
Rs 185/130, Banana Pak Rs 100/60, Banana India Rs 145/105, Guava
92/55, Pomegranate Rs 220/160, Musumi Rs 152/100, Shakri Rs
155/110, Kino Rs 88/50, Pear China Rs 165/135 and Red blood
oranges Rs 166/120, Melon Rs 80/55, Strawberry Rs 235/200.
