JHANG, (MILLAT/APP): Kisan Package of the Punjab Government
is giving results and farmers are getting benefits from the package.
This was stated by Provincial Secretary Agriculture Cap. (R) Muhammad Mahmood while addressing a review meeting regarding targets and tasks of district agriculture department.
Deputy Commissioner Amanullah Ghazi, Director Agriculture Faisalabad division Ch. Abdul Hameed, Assistant Commissioner Shahid Abbas Joeya, AC (UT) Bilal Bin Abdul Hafeez and staff of local agriculture department were present.
The secretary directed agriculture officials to speed up process of registration of farmers so that every farmer should get facilities. He also reviewed targets of soil sampling.
He said that provision of maximum facilities to small farmers was the top priority of the Punjab government.
Later Muhammad Mahmood visited Dates Farm and planted a tree of dates. He also directed to improve water channel of the farm.
