GILGIT, (MILLAT/APP): As many as 17 talented students of Karakum International University has received cheques of Higher Education
Commission (HEC)’s Need Based Scholarships (NBS) to help them to
continue their students without financial constraints.
Vice Chancellor, Dr Muhammad Asif Khan distributed cheques among the students during a function attended by Deans Social Sciences Dr Muhammad Ramzan, Secretary Scholarship Section, Saeed Ahmed besides students and faculty members.
The Vice Chancellor in his address while congratulating the students said that like the past years HEC has also provided scholarship to students this year and asked them to concentrate on this studies wholeheartedly.
He said all rules and regulations of HEC were followed in provision of scholarship to students and cheques were distributed after scrutiny process.
